CAD is the use of computer programs to aid in the optimization, analysis and creation of a design. Any student that enters the CAD program, will learn how to draft by hand, work with others and use industry level software. Upon exiting the program at the end of high school, they will have obtained the knowledge to enter the work force, or further their education at any number of excellent schools.
